Secretary, NAR-INDIA said After attending a trade mission in Delhi and the NAR-INDIA convention in Mumbai, over 50 International High Net worth Investors / Agents / Realtors from the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East have confirmed their participation for the FIABCI-INDIA Bangalore event. These include a large contingent from the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) which comprises of Asians, including Indians, who deal in properties across India. We expect over 150 Realtor members of NAR-INDIA will also be attending the event. This event will give an excellent opportunity for BRAI Members to network and explore the possibility of doing business on an international level through international and national realtors.
In addition to the above, His Excellency, the French Consul Monsieur Francois GAUTIER, Madame Claude MASEGOSA, and Hon’ble Minister for Urban Development R. Roshan Baig and Hon’ble Minister for Housing Shri M. Krishnappa, have confirmed their participation. We have also invited The Hon’ble Chief Minister Govt. of Karnataka Sri. Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Ministers Shri K. J. George, and R. V. Deshpande, Bureaucrats Shri Mahendra Jain, Shri Kapil Mohan, Shri Anjum Parvez, Smt Vinoth Priya R, and N. A. Harris, MLA Shanthinagar, and other dignitaries.
Eminent Speakers are being invited to participate in a panel to discuss matters of importance and interest in Real Estate, and members of the international delegation will speak on doing business internationally.
FIABCI-INDIA’s FIRST INTERNATIONAL EVENT.
Many of you participated in FIABCI-INDIA’s first international event which was held on 16th August 2016 at the JW Marriott, Vittal Mallya Road, Bengaluru. The event was attended by over 75 international delegates and investors from all over the world, and by large numbers of eminent developers, architects, lawyers, realtors, and other prominent members of the real estate industry from across India and most especially from Bengaluru. On that occasion Shri R. Roshan Baig, Hon’ble Minister for Urban Development and Haj, Government of Karnataka, had addressed the gathering and presented an excellent overview of the Real Estate (Regulations and Development) Act, 2016. Following this, we had the privilege of hearing a very educative address on Government’s initiatives for real estate growth and future plans for the State by Shri Mahendra Jain, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Karnataka, Urban Development Department.
The Karnataka Government’s support for the current event will send out a strong and positive message to the gathering of its continued commitment to the growth of the Real Estate sector in Bengaluru, and will encourage the global and national investors to look at India, especially Karnataka and Bengaluru, as a favourable investment destination.
