Leading Real estate developer Embassy group has doubled the contribution in Akshay Patra foundation to 400 students, the company was sponsoring so far 200 students for the last couple of years, from the current academic year it has added 400 more students so effectively the group will sponsor 600 students from this academic year onwards, following is the press release from the company

We strongly believe in the power of education and its limitless possibilities. As part of our Employee Engagement Program, we sponsored and collaborated with Akshaya Patra Foundation. This not-for-profit organisation is the world’s largest mid-day meal programme serving wholesome food to over 1.6 million children from 13,579 government schools and government-aided schools across 12 states in India. Embassy Group employees sponsored 200 students and the company doubled the contribution by sponsoring 400 leading to a grand total of 600!
